“Customers” means any person who submits information on the website or searches for and contacts an emergency service engineer for a job execution.
“Users” means anyone making use of the Service4Home website.
“Service” means the service provided by Service4Home to Users and Customers, which includes, but is not limited to: information, services and products provided through the Website, or by telephone or email.
“Affiliate” means any business or sole trader possessing skills and qualifications in the area they work in who register with Service4Home to provide their services to Customers.
“Website” means www.service4home.co.uk, its content and sub-domains contained therein.
For the jobs secured via Service4Home, invoices are issued every fortnight to Affiliates. Affiliates agree to pay the invoices within the payment terms stated on the invoice. If payment is overdue more than 7 days, the Affiliate account become restricted.
Affiliates receive invoices via email.
Customers shall pay for the service via Website using PayPal services.
4. Variation and Amendments
Service4Home shall have the right, at its sole discretion to modify, add or remove any terms or conditions of these Terms without notice or liability to you. You should regularly check the Website to review the current Terms since they are binding on you. Any changes to these Terms shall be effective immediately following the posting of any such changes on the Website. Please review these Terms regularly to ensure that you are aware of any changes made by the Company. Your continued use of the Website after changes have been posted means you agree to be legally bound by the Terms as updated and amended.
Service4Home reserves the right to terminate (not obligation) any trade membership immediately without stating the reasons. Affiliates have rights to terminate its membership with Service4Home. Within 7 days of the membership cancellation, the Affiliate shall pay any amount that is a result of using the Services
Service4Home can subcontract other businesses to provide professional services that is offered on this website
Service4Home is not liable for any information or service provided by Affiliates outside this website that may cause losses or problems to the Customer.
Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements.
The company does not warrant that functions contained in the website content will be uninterrupted or error free, that defects will be corrected or that the website’s server is free of viruses, worms, trojan horses or bugs.
The company shall not be liable to the Customer for loss or damage to the Customer’s property unless due to the negligence or other failure of the Consultant to perform its obligations under this agreement.
The Consultant shall have no liability to the Client for any indirect, special or consequential loss to the Client arising or in connection with the provision of any goods or services pursuant to this agreement.
8. Force Majeure
Neither party shall be liable to the other for any failure to perform any obligation under any Agreement which is due to an event beyond the control of such party including but not limited to any Act of God, terrorism, war, Political insurgence, insurrection, riot, civil unrest, act of civil or military authority, uprising, earthquake, flood or any other natural or man made eventuality outside of our control, which causes the termination of an agreement or contract entered into, nor which could have been reasonably foreseen. Any Party affected by such event shall forthwith inform the other Party of the same and shall use all reasonable endeavours to comply with the terms and conditions of any Agreement contained herein.
Failure of either Party to insist upon strict performance of any provision of this or any Agreement or the failure of either Party to exercise any right or remedy to which it, he or they are entitled hereunder shall not constitute a waiver thereof and shall not cause a diminution of the obligations under this or any Agreement. No waiver of any of the provisions of this or any Agreement shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be such and signed by both Parties.
